She Remembered Caterpillars is an adventure game developed by jumpsuit entertainment UG. The game is a color-matching puzzle game with a unique fungipunk aesthetic. It is set in a surreal world of writhing caterpillars, brightly-colored Gammies, and living architecture. The game follows the story of a scientist's quest to save her father, and as the player progresses through the chapters, they will uncover more about the strange and mysterious universe.
The game has won the Intel Level Up Game Demo’s Best Puzzle Game Award and features gorgeous artwork from Symmetrain creator Daniel Leander Goffin. With 40 levels of brain-bending puzzles, each new act presents the player with a fresh mechanic or a different color. The game also features a haunting soundtrack by Thomas Höhl, composer for Galaxy On Fire and the well-known Deponia franchise. Additionally, She Remembered Caterpillars can easily be played by the color-blind, thanks to its unique usage of shapes and symbols.
